Sound Bath by Dave Tipper of Nada Sound Therapy £12 in advance only

Saturday 8th April 15:30-16:30

A deeply relaxing experience of sound.

After experiencing Dave Tipper’s wonderful work, we had to invite him to Tarastone to share his skill.

Dave is wonderful at playing a range of percussion instruments. Among his collection are Nepalese crystal singing bowls and fine, resonant gongs.  Dave has an exceptional presence to what he does that elevates his gong baths to something very special.

“A beautiful experience that carried us both away from the mundane. Thank you so much.” – Clare and Chris Gomez

PLEASE NOTE SOUND BATHS ARE NOT ADVISED FOR PEOPLE WITH AUDIOGENIC EPILEPSY OR IN THEIR FIRST TRIMESTER OF PREGNANCY.

There is a pop-up café and free parking at Tarastone on this day.

WHAT TO BRING:

Please don’t come in your trunks or bikinis, this is not an actual bath! Yes, it has happened.  Please do bring a yoga mat, blanket and cushion for your own comfort.  Most people lie on the floor.  There are a variety of chairs for those who prefer sitting.

IMPORTANT:

Please arrive 20 minutes before the start so as to settle yourself in a comfortable spot.  Late-comers cannot be admitted as it would disrupt the experience for all.

CHILDREN:

We feel this experience is more relevant to adults. Older children who are able to keep still and absolutely silent for an hour are welcome. We love little children too but don’t feel this is the right event for them.  Please look out for other events we have that are better for little people – Apple Day or The Family Retreat for example.

AFTER A SOUND BATH

Do take some time to ground yourself before setting off, especially if you are driving.  The Karma Café will be open for tea and cake to help you land.

“Wow, that was heavenly!” ( – E.V., Poole)
