A fresh approach to the meditation habit. On Zoom – but different!
Are you feeling stale and worn down by the past few years?
Is your mind stressed and busy to the point where there’s no space left?
Want to make sure your future is different?
If you’ve had your fill of online meetings and think they are all dull and exhausting, think again. The Refresh Your Mind course is completely unique.
We have a number of ground-breaking skills up our sleeves to help you feel engaged, light and energised.
It is a great way to blow away the cobwebs and start your week feeling fabulous.
As inspiring as it is authentic, the course will connect you deeply to your practice and other members of the group.
For all the modern techniques, Refresh Your Mind is authentically Buddhist in its grounding and discipline.
This course is good for beginners or those with some meditation practice who want a fire up their motivation and get back into good habits.
Immersion and participation are key – everyone has their camera onto foster group connection. We include contemplative play as part of this but don’t worry if you don’t know what that is. No special skills, equipment or fitness needed. Just come ready to sit at your computer with your face illuminated and visible.
As things progress, expect a deepening to happen, right along with the playfulness. At Tarastone we believe strongly in traditional values in meditation teaching. It is important to get to know your teacher and for them to get to know you so they can help you with the challenges you personally encounter along the way.
There will be meditation homework for those who intend to groove the habit and opportunities for personal support.
Refresh Your Mind is led by Sherab Chodron, Spiritual Director of Tarastone. Sherab has been a practitioner of meditation for several decades and has extensive experience of many wisdom traditions. She has been teaching and leading retreats for 25 years. For the last 11 years, Sherab has been involved in the playful, spiritual tradition of the Holy Fool. Sherab is also a Buddhist Prison Chaplain.
